Time to reach 100 degrees
« on: May 10, 2017, 06:09:39 pm »
Hi

I'm currently making Asparagus Soup (it IS the season!) and it has taken my TM5 9 minutes to reach 100 degrees!!!!  Is this normal?  I don't ever remember it taking so long.

Many thanks

What recipe are you using?
I think reaching temperature depends on the ingredients used. There is a boiling water test you can do but I can't remember the details.

I've taken a shot of the water test for you.

The TM 5 often seems to take ages.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

My pleasure Denise, now it's here for everyone to find if they need it.
