I made this yesterday with some very dead bananas. It is lovely and will be made many more times. :-*

This was a really easy recipe and it smells great while cooking. I only had two bananas but it still looks good, yet to taste as its cooling!!!!
Cooking is fun again with my TMX!

So glad everyone is loving this. It's one of our family favourites.

It's also delicious served warm with Butterscotch Sauce (from Sticky Date Pudding) and ice cream and cream. ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

It's my only Banana Cake Recipe too!
I'm still looking for a really good carrot cake - one that's like the Sara Lee one you can buy.

I whipped this up late this afternoon, thanks for bumping it Suzanne.  I had 3 very, very black bananas which were heading for the compost bin but they have now been turned into this cake.  Lovely cake and the icing really tops it off.

Looks yummo, JD! I don't usually ice mine, but often serve buttered.

I only iced it because I had 1/2 packet of philly cream cheese otherwise it would have been buttered for me too.
