Good morning everyone.  Still cold and wet here.  I did manage to fix the computer.  I have had to rearrange my set up but at least it is working.

Good morning everyone.  A sunny morning here, a nice change from the cold and the rain that we have been having.

We have a hot day here out of the blue but thank goodness it’s only until a cool change comes through later tonight.

We're the same over here, Judy.

CC were you anywhere near those torrential rains at the weekend?  Could your work site get any muddier??

Most of the torrential rain affected the northern part of the UK Marina. We had a lot of rain and yes the site is extremely muddy at the moment.😩

Good morning everyone.  A cold day here with an icy wind blowing.

DH birthday today, we will go out for lunch instead of dinner as it is so cold.  Most of the family will call in over the weekend as so many of them are working now.

Very cold here.
Help please. I’ve just spent an hour looking for Cookies no fat Xmas fruit mince. Lovely recipe for Roasted Almond, Citrus and Whisky Christmas Cake in last edition of Dish magazine.
Mother duck has just taken her babies for a walk around the dam.  There are only 4 left of the original 10.

What happened to the ducklings?

Judy, that’s it.  You are a star.  Thanks a million.
Marina, thanks but I subscribed to Dish magazine  it is a fab production.

Tenina is offering a Christmas eBook. I was tempted but when I looked at the index I realised I had either made or could make everything on the list except the Pumpkin and Walnut Pate. I made this today and will post. It is very nice.

We don’t know what happened to the missing ducklings.  It is strange as they are nesting on an island in the dam.  Very sad.

That is sad about the ducklings. Thanks for the reminder about the fruit mince Chookie. I have just finished last years batch, I made another fruit mince bread and butter pudding.

It’s round 36 here today. 37 tomorrow.

That Fruit mince recipe is fabulous. Made some as soon as Judy posted the link. When it had finished it still had a bit if liquid so I stirred in a 1/2 cup of Dried Sour Cherries.   I am going to make mince tarts in the mini pie machine.
