April - Meat Recipes - get to it !!
« on: April 04, 2009, 03:28:19 am »
Well after cookie cleaned up with the March recipe competition, let's see what we can do for April.

The recipes for this month are meat.

Please help Tenina make the blog a valuable tool for all of us.

I'm thinking......................really hard. :P :P :P :P

I was thrilled to win the cookie cook off. Now what book will I select? I was dancing round and yelling when I saw it on the blog.  I'm sure the neighbours must have thought I'd won lotto-even though the draw isn't for a few hours yet and my footy team doesn't play until tomorrow.
Thanks. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ::) ;D ;D

Rather exciting isn't it Baf65? For others I was lucky enough to win the "draw" at a cooking class last Thursday and received the new Vegetarian book. I really don't know what to select for my cookie prize. Perhaps the Cyndi O'Meara (?) one.
I'm looking forward to the Nico Moretti cooking class here on the 19th.

Congrats Cookie :D I have the Cyndi book out from the library right now. I would choose a book you can't find there ;)

If you dont have the Gluten free one I would get that one over the Cyndi book myself......the Cyndi TM Cookbook only has a few pages in it - but if you have all the other ones then I guess its as good a choice as any!

Oh, oops, I didn't realise Cyndi had a TM cookbook also. *shuts mouth*

I would probably choose the GF one as well.

Thanks for the information on the books. I have Gluten Free one but not the Cyndi one.

Have you tried the Chocolate Brownies in the Gluten Free book? They are really nice! Exactly what we need at Easter, more chocolate. But then they say it has Endorphins in  it to make us feel good, so that is my excuse and I'm sticking to it. ::) ::)

March competition

Congratulations Cookie1 on winning the March comp.  Only just read it on the forum and had been wondering which recipe came out in front.  Thanks to the warm welcome back to the forum from everyone too.  Almost finished reading everything new but I made 2 old conventional stove-top dishes upon our return - chicken soup and chinese flair to tide us over for a few days whilst I settle back into being home and catching up with everything.  After all the fancy food on board, was looking for some plain, home cooking. Think it will take some time to get back into the swing of things but see you have all been busy posting more recipes - printer has been working overtime today. Nice win you had over my footy team too whilst we were away!
