Fundj, those pancakes look sooooo yummy.  They rose, really really well.  They remind me of the ones you get at the pancake manor (not sure if it's a QLD thing or Australia Wide), really fluffy and melt in your mouth.  Do you have a special recipe ? Would you mind posting it if you do ? Doesn't look like the EDC one to me lol. I'd love to make them for brekkie tomorrow lol.

Belated Happy Birthday to DD2 CarolineW.   I can't believe time has flown by so quickly - it only seems like yesterday that you were able to spend more time on here.

Hope you are all having a lovely relaxing day

made this for a customer today

I wish I was the customer 😄
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

We've been having a lovely day, thanks everyone. I made crab pizza for lunch with bimby's chocolate cake adapted forr dd2's intolerances.  I'd meant to make a different cake, but ran out of time and brain so stuck to what I knew 😊

Breakfast as typical full English, which she enjoyed - I'm sure my waist line did too 😉

She got an apron and oven gloves for her kitchen, plus wooden pizza which she can change the toppings on and a wooden birthday cake she an decorate.  Both of them slice so she and dd1 ran a restaurant where they took our orders then cooked them in her kitchen before serving them to us.  She was great, warning everyone that the oven was hot and carefully getting her oven gloves on before checking whether they were cooked or not. Very cute.

It's going to be a real hot day today and I have heaps of cooking to do as usual on a Sunday. I'm glad I have the convection microwave as it seems to help with not heating the kitchen up so much as the other oven. Air con will be on and I have a fan ready to go as well.

Lovely pancakes, Fundj.

I've also begun preparing larger batches, separating them when cool with parchment and freezing them for later reheating.
And they are not just for breakfast.  Pancakes topped with a ladle of chili makes a lovely supper.

;D I am about to start baking, cooking heaps.

lasange, cottage pies for freezing, curry pies and pasties for lunches during the week,
Biscuits, slices, anzac biscuits, ILB chocolate cakes, banana cake, and more.

Just made Oat and Fruit Slice. I added it under cakes. Might whip up a lasagne for dinner tomorrow night. Tonight is fish and vegetables.

Have just finished the Golden Syrup Cake, Mediterranean pull-a-part loaf in the oven and have prepared the KFC spices and chicken for dinner tonight. It's already more than hot here so that might do for today. Was thinking about some hot cross buns but I'll see if the storm clouds go away and it cools down before entering the kitchen again.
