Jude blereau's blueberry and lemon scones - delicious!  Banana and cinnamon porridge for the boys breakfast.

Later on will make some biscuits and an oat slice for lunch boxes and also need some more of the butter chicken curry paste from the Indian cookbook.

Yesterday's party platter

Fig & olive crackers (QFEO)

Roasted capsicum hommus (will post recipe later)

Pistachio & pine nut dukkah, which I then turned into a cheese ball (will post later)

.....also smoked chicken pâté & Hally's Turkish bread for dipping

Desserts....dulce de leche brownies & strawberry cheesecake muffins

maddy, did you get the dukkah recipe from a TM book or on the forum? or elsewhere?

Puffs, based on this one from taste.com.au.
http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/12277/dukkah
I used 80g pistachios & 30g pine nuts in this one, but any combination of nuts works.

Maddy, you MUST make those brownies. I have bookmarked them to make, look at the recipe at least once a week and say no they will go to my hips. So please be a good girl and go easy on the bubbles and make them so I can enjoy them from a safe distance ;) :D

Which recipe are you referring to Kimmy?
I just made a batch of Amanda's brownies, then poured half the batter into tin, then dotted with brons dulce de leche, and poured remaining batter on top

Oh my, you are the best maddy - what a wonderful contribution to the party. Your presentation skills are so good and thanks for sharing your lovely photos with us.  You know you should be in the catering business don't you  ;D.  I like the sound of the roasted capsicum hommus, not keen on plain hommus myself and look forward to your cheese ball recipe too.

Maddy your food looks amazing. How did the brownies taste? Worth the effort?
I am talking about this link  http://www.chocolatesuze.com/2009/08/05/dulce-de-leche-brownies that mama bel posted below brons recipe. Looks like you did exactly the same anyway!

You all make me feel guilty, I haven't done much cooking at all lately other than keeping the biscuit tin full and making dinners! Still getting used to being back at work....

I made Maddy's Cheese and Bacon rolls, a Cobb Loaf and some Napolitana sauce for tonight's pizzas.

The Cobb loaf rose more than I expected, it will still taste nice

Dan Lepard's Walnut, Apple and Custard Pudding

A few steps and a bit indulgent for me on my own once the boys were in bed. But I have a box of apples...
Not a bad conversion attempt. Will write up soon.

Maddy your party spread looks amazing. You are a legend with your cooking and presentation.  :)

Thermesa your apples and walnut pudding looks great.  Looking forward to the recipe.  :)

Cookie your bread looks devine.  :)

I have not done much cooking the last two days.  We had a house guest from last Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning.  Cooking something interesting and different for tea each night kept me occupied.  SO yesterday all I really made was tacos from a packet.

Today I made pancakes and eggs for Brekkie and a loaf of bread.
