Marina how did the relish taste?
I’m making Apple Jelly today. Will be using the Jars that Marina brought.
Made Adam Liaw’s Apricot and Mango chicken. Easy and tasty.

My SIL is over from Melbourne at the moment and is now trained to save his Costco chicken carcass for me to make stock.  This time I made Chicken & Sweetcorn soup https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6028.0

Great training there Judy.

No cooking today. I'm just preparing my rye starter.
My Macadamia and Cheese sticks from the other day.

I am very fond of a good relish so this weekend was a big treat.  I tried the beetroot, grape and apple relish out yesterday on my burgers, perhaps a bit too beetroot-y but really nice none the less.  I am looking forward to trying yours next weekend.

We have visitors this afternoon so I made some Apple & Cinnamon muffins for afternoon tea.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Last night I baked Almond crackle biscuits.  I made double recipe but didn’t have enough almonds. I added ground almonds to make up deficient. They worked out well with a little extra cooking time.

I gave the rye SD I made the other day away so I have another one rising. I also need to make a fruit bread and some biscuits today. I will make it later this afternoon as our air con is evaporative and doesn't help a lot when its humid.

Here are the biscuits I made yesterday and the fruit bread. The biscuits are basically Anzacs with a bit of jam on the top. The fruit bread became scrolls. I was looking through recipes and could choose one so I ended up making these. It is the No Fuss recipe with a good squirt of molasses added. I rolled it out after it’s second rise and spread a bit of creamed butter and brown sugar over. Sprinkled it with toasted walnuts, chopped,  and some dried fruit that had been soaked in Tia Maria for some time. They are delicious.

I made some honeycomb today. Everyone seemed to make it when the got their thermomix 6 so I had to give it a try. It set very quickly, so I had everything ready to go. I accidentally put in double the amount of golden syrup. I’m very pleased with the way it turned out. It seems to quite high, compared to the photo on Cookidoo.
