Does anyone know a good tomato ketchup recipe that doesn't require plums? I can't get plums at the moment.

I made JD's Veroma steamed Corned Beef with chat potatoes, carrots and cabbage. Topped it off with Jonro's Mustard Sauce.

We had leftovers today and were far too busy to even think about food until later this evening when I made another batch of Tenina's caramelised garlic paste and her Savoury Potted Cheese - both very quick recipes.

Made Tuna noodle & corn casserole, steak paste for sandwiches, some bread rolls yesterday and now I am going to make the savoury flat bread, Luigi's 40 sec biscuits and maybe some chocolate eclairs for the my GD's.

Won't be cooking much today. I'm sitting in the hospital car park waiting for my friends to pick me up as I have my leg plastered up and can't drive home. Waited 6 months to see a specialist with my Achilles tendentious problem. They decided to inject me with steroids and plaster my leg up for 6 weeks. Hope it works.
Now how will I cope? Got no choice now lol. I nearly fell flat on my face with the crutches.

I finished off making the cherry & choc brioche this morning but in fairness I won't write a proper review as I made a few stuff-ups and the result is quite a dry brioche.  Next time I make it I will be more careful and hopefully be able to write a proper review.  :)

Oh Dede, sorry about the leg, I broke my ankle about 5 years ago and know what you will be going through , I ended up buying a secondhand wheelchair to scoot around in and for my friends to take me shopping, it was a godsend, what about an adjustable office chair on casters high enough so you can still cook at the bench. LOL got to keep the family fed.  a shower chair and a couple of suction on handles are good in the bathroom.  Good luck .
