Could TM work on 220V?
-
Yes, p8 of The Manual (http://www.vorwerk.com/thermomix/pdf/instructionmanual_tm31_web.pdf) says 220-240V.
Italy has 220V (http://www.summerinitaly.com/planning/electricity.asp)

Any thoughts Thermomixer on how it would go in the States? I have been told with a proper power transformer they should work fine...wondering what you think/know??? ???
-
They work and are being sold there - see this thread (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=44.0) and also this thread (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=268.0)
Francoiseny is a saleperson/demonstrator in US and they are selling.
The first thread contains article from Pittsburgh Post Gazette (http://www.postgazette.com/pg/06201/707008-34.stm) telling that there are problems - but that doesn't appear to be true.
The website for TMX in US is not very informative or supportive of their sales team.
I can't believe that it is not taking off there.
