The lady across the road had a luncheon today and bought over some leftovers for us later.  Pies, pasties, sausage rolls, kabana, potato chips and milk - would you believe I didn't even notice the activity over there as we were out in the back room or back yard the whole time it was happening apparently.  Not my favourite food but I sent the kids home with their Mum with snack packs in the back seat and DH and I had a few bits and pieces - after a long day, I was completely shot and it saved me having to do anything other than put the house back in order after this tornedo had passed through  :-)) :-))

The Salami Fettuccine out of the EDC. I've made it once before and we enjoyed it. Changed it a little tonight though as I was prepping nice and early, decided to start cooking and then found out that my husband wont be home until later.
I left out the "add pasta" step, did everything else, tipped it into the Thermoserver, added the uncooked pasta and have now left it in the Thermoserver to cook the pasta.  30-40 min everyone should be home and pasta is on the way to looking perfect.
