What kind neighbours Judy.Had a bottle of wine from one neighbour last year as a thank you present for putting up with their puppy barking.DH and I didn't even notice the noise :D :D :D and we still have our hearing in tact :D :D :D :D

We had chicken with satay sauce , with rice cooked at the same time. I love those all in one meals :)

Sauvignon Blanc a dry white wine Amy this one from NZ Marlborough wine region.
My favourite white wine from the new world.
My true favourite is a Sancerre from The Loire valley in France. It is a Sauvignon Blanc but with a mellower flavour than the sharp crisp wine from NZ. A delight as is a Chablis premier Cruz. I love French wine.

so cooking for 14 people is truly a mission, risotto, crumbed chicken and vegies last night. tonight veal, spaghetti carbonara and vegies.
tomorrow Bolognese pasta bake, garlic bread and salad

Talking abut nice nighbours, my lovely old lady  who is 84 gave me a chrystal bowl that she has for 65 years :) very sweet.

Dinner tonight...
we are finally getting to eat our pork chops...will be cooking them in the slowcooker
will have them with mashed potato, steamed veg and Amy's quiches.  :)
