The first oops of 1915.(oops again! 2015)  ;D ;D ;D

I made a new recipe for a banana cake yesterday. Boy was this stupid when I have Chookie's Rum and Raisin Banana Cake and Tenina's, both of which are beautiful. Anyway the cake was a flop with a capital F.
The taste is only so so and I don't like the texture much either. I even managed to get the perfect soggy bananas before DH ate them.
I have decided it has to become a trifle. Does anyone else have any thoughts on what to do with a large banana nana anna cake that isn't the best please?
