It sounds as though it may have been freezer burn. I would let it rise again but I don't know why!! When I do pizza dough I actually make the base and freeze it partially cooked. That's if I have any left.
We always laughed as half of DD's gifts were always 'some assembly required'. I have some lovely photos of her and DH on the floor assembling various Barbie contraptions over the years.
Today has been more of Helene's bread and another of Kathryn's yummy cookie recipes. I'm now letting the oven cool so that the house doesn't feel so warm as it's about 360 here at the moment. I'm not sure if DH has checked the air con or not so I won't put it on.
Chookie what an exciting time you must have had. I wish I was closer. You look just like your avatar. I think I'll have to convince DH that we need to do a trip round Australia called the TMX trip. Perhaps for 2012. We have 2011 booked with friends and 2014 booked for a National Car Meet. Gosh life is too short.
We love this icecream so I have decided to photograph each type I make. The mango icecream missed out but I'll being doing it again and we've finished the Mulberry icecream. I read Gretchen's GD idea and copied it. As Gretchen said instant Cookies and Cream icecream.
