Good choice Jen.

I bought KIS at the farmers markets near me for $40 (gift). They had other TM books there which makes me think it was the publishers stand,

I prob will go back next weekend to buy a couple more gifts  :-)) I got the most beautiful long stemmed gerberas for $12 (too many to count 20-30 maybe). A  kilo of onions which I was just about to use to make a  pissaladiere (onion & olive tart) but I just couldn't bring myself to use them all at once cos they were perfect - silly me, but the supermarket onions are horrible. My bag was so heavy and I only meant to buy a few apples. I think I may need to start menu planning  :-)) or just buy heaps of fresh produce and work around it.

Great shopping girls.  I've bought a few things online for the kids for birthdays, Christmas etc.  I've decided when I see something I like, to just buy it and put it away. I must start a book listing everything I have so far.

I've bought the GKs a subscription to National Geographic for Kids (can't put that away though), hammamas towels for DD2's whole family, Chasseur Panini Presses for both DD's just to name a few because I've already forgotten what else I've bought this year  :-)) ;D

One of my friends works in a place where after stuff has gone on sale  and not sold they can buy for dirt cheap. She has a huge cupboard with about 70+ things in there that she keeps for gifts. She keeps a list so she knows what she has. Handy too when family members raid and her well paid son has been caught out a couple of times raiding for gift giving of his own (not that you'd have that problem JD)
