They certainly do look delicious Chookie. I made some of your florentines.

I don’t think I quite cooked them enough, so I returned them to the oven for a while. DH and DD love them.
I also made some cauliflower soup for lunch

Mainly  for DD who had emergency root canal treatment this morning.

I made a zebra cake this afternoon. It has just come out of the oven. I’ll photograph it when we cut it.

Last night we had Dinner at DD. During the day she had discussed different methods of cooking Corned Beef with her clients.  One included tipping a tin of pineapple juice into the pot.  Not sure about this.
Bought Chicken legs on Special and put into SC to make soup.  This is much better value and quality than buying stock.

Made pumpkin soup then added risone ( shaped like rice ) pasta and cooked it for ten minutes more . DH favourite soup . Chookie thats a great idea with the chicken legs . Might have said it before but I steamed a whole chicken in the Varoma Quirky Jo’s recipe then used the stock water and chicken for coconut lemon chicken soup! Really nice .
