K Atie, congratulations to your DS and DD, a great effort by both of them.

Cookie, he does alot of it, but the major stuff is done by a guy in Mareeba, who specialises in doing up old cars. :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

It looks good already to me cookie but I’m sure it will keep DH busy for a while.

Beautiful flowers Chookie.

DH said about 12 months.  There is a bit of rust in the doors and in a couple of panels. All the rubbers rounds doors and windows need replacing too.  We haven't had it running yet so we' re not sure what the motor needs. It hasn't been running for about 6 years. The hood lining is wrecked and the seat in the front is pretty poor too. Also it doesn't have any brakes either!!
I'm looking forward to driving it as it is an automatic. We are going to keep it red with a white roof.
Thank goodness we can put all these cars on concessional license and because they aren't' driven very often the insurance is good too.

K Atie,  very busy as usual.  Glad knee is coming on as expected.
It is quiet here with time to get garden in order. Looking very nice and park like.
Trying meal planning.  Not very good at sticking to what is planned. Would like to cut down grocery bill.

Life is so busy for you Katie, we retired people seem to be flat out at times too and I often wonder how those with children and/or work manage to do everything. Good to hear your specialist was happy with your knee recovery.
I slept until 8.50 this morning (didn’t go to bed until 1.50 am), woken when my gardener dropped off a plant I wanted.
