Huge pot of pumpkin soup and a really nice roast vege and pasta salad.  Am about to start on a double batch of miracle spray

I always do that, then I run out and just have to make it!

Tonight I've made a start on party food for our Probus birthday next month.  Tuna & sweetcorn mornay vol-au-vents, haven't made them for so long.  I also have 5 meals in the freezer with the leftover mornay as well.

From what I can remember, they are Denise.  They may bring back memories for some of the ladies unless it was just something my Mum used to do.

How time flies - it doesn't seem so long ago since you were catering for the last Probus birthday!  I haven't had a vol au vent for years and years and those look very tempting, Judy.

You're definately right Marina, these annual events seem to come around far too quickly.

Nothing here, although I am thinking of trying the Varoma Bread with sultanas in. I want to check it for Monkey Mia. It's ages since I made it.

Yes, I'm showing my age Chookie LOL.
Do try the steamed bread cookie, it's been years since I made it but I remember the plain version tasting crumpet like.  It would be nice with fruit in it.

We won't have a big freezer with us this year as we don't have the boat, so I can't take cake etc for all the morning teas we have.

Cookie, can you squeeze in a small slow cooker. You could then make plain bread and fruit bread.
