I'm happy because my friend came and helped me make my goodie bags for the retreat, I am so happy with them, just hope everyone likes them.  :)
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Happy that I finally found some 2 inch nails and hung up all my brooms and mops in a cupboard high on the wall and cleared out cupboard under stairs to make room for my soaping stuff.

The shoe polish, ironing board and vax vacuum are now much easier to get at. The under stair cupboard is - as they usually are - not the greatest for storage and to keep tidy. I could really do with better shelving.... But as this is not our own house it won't happen.

Funny what makes us happy isn't it.

I'm glad that DH and I sat down and did our budget for the new financial year (we are a bit late).
It just amazes me that the more paperless we go the more paper I seem to have  ???

Sounds like you've been busy Michelle.  It's definitely not a paperless world.

We have a spreadsheet for our budget and another spreadsheet for our actual spend.
The system breaks down though as we never compare actual to budget  :-))

If I thought about it I think you could make a chart that would grab the data from the budget and actual spread sheets and compare them.

However it would just be easier to get the budget app for Ipad which will track all of that for you.

Each day that goes past, I am getting happier and happier. I am finding on a personal level the less I focus on becoming more consumer orientated (we are not starving so food is not an issue) and concentrating on the positives in my life, laughing at every opportunity (but not just for laughing sake - those people send me off the deep end) steering clear of negative people who sweat the small stuff and have obvious issues they don't see as their own, and putting family first - the happier I am.  If I could look at life the way a cat does, then I would have "The Secret to a Happy Life" and this would be the end of this topic.

Lol CP, I know what you mean about cats. Our two have the best life lazing about, sleeping most of the day, food on demand, doors opened for them when ever they want. What a wonderful life.
My DH often says he's coming back as a cat in his next life :D
