Sounds painful and expensive.
Ral had good report from Specialist today.  The platelets seem to have stabilised be it at a low level . We are all pleased. Life may start to improve a little.

Yes I’m fine thanks Katie and it’s so nice for my tongue to feel a nice smooth tooth now instead of the jagged broken one.

90 minutes turned into 2 hours, I was numb for 9 hours then felt the pain of having been worked on for so long. I was OK this morning though.  I broke a huge molar 12 months ago and an hour of the work was spent on that one tooth, she virtually had to rebuild 3/4 of it before doing 2 more filling replacements on the same side.  Looks like I might need a few crowns plus a mouth guard to stop me grinding my teeth at night, a lot of my teeth have cracks in them.
Phew! that’s a very long dental appointment Judy.

Sounds painful and expensive.

Great news about Ral’s platelet count Chookie.

Extremely hot here today. Tomorrow’s going to be hotter. 🥵

Judy, what a session at the dentists, but it looks like you were in dire need of the work.

Chookie, so very relieved to hear Ral's latest results.

Good morning everyone.  Cool with bursts of sunshine today.
Chookie, good news about Ral.
Judy, that was a long visit, glad you are feeling better now.  Dentists terrify me.

Mab, you need to visit my DD.  She specialises in scared woman( and men) and children.
She became skilful practicing on her mother.
Judy, I am glad you have recovered.

Wonderful news about the platelets stabilising Chookie.

I am another person who is terrified of the dentist. I think it comes from the days of the dentist visiting schools and drilling without an injection. I can still remember them saying 'oh you are a brave girl, you don't need an injection!!!!' Then my parents fury at finding out that they only put temporary fillings in.
DD put us onto some brilliant dentists and they are all young. I always remind my lady dentist that I am chicken, but I have to admit she is amazing. If your DD was closer Chookie, I would be on her patient list in no time.

I remember those school days too cookie, they were the cruelest people in the world as far as I was concerned.  Even when we had to visit a dentist practice I used to take one look at the machinery hanging overhead and start screaming so I guess the male dentist Mum used was just paying me back for my naughtiness. I remember him telling Mum once to take me home and don’t bring her back until she can behave herself.    These days I don’t mind going, what a difference it is - not even the injection is felt most of the time.  The young female dentist heaped a lot of praise on me for my patience.  I go every 12 months but this time it was 18 months due to what’s been going on in my life this year.  The only part I don’t like is having to have my mouth open for so long and the amount of ‘things’ they put in there!

I remember those school days too girls. No wonder people have phobias about dentists.

Extremely hot here today. Record breaking temperatures recorded in the UK.

Judy, I had a good laugh at your tale about you and the dentist.  I can’t imaging you as a naughty little girl.  ;D
A good friend from Mt Macedon has been swallowing packets of Panadol  for her tooth ache.  With another friend we managed to get her to DD.  She had an abscess on a tooth. That was a week ago.  Today she is the most grateful person alive. She haven’t been to a Dentist for years.

We have decided to have a small break away next week.  We are going to the Royal Mail Hotel at Dunkeld. Went there last year and enjoyed it.  It is less than 2 hours drive away.  They are putting together a special luxury package for us.  All meals, visit to their veggie garden and an escorted 4 wheel drive of the Grampians.  Rock paintings and waterfalls.  Looking forward to it.
Not so cold today but rain expected.  Hair cut.

I also remember the school dentists.  At our school the dental nurses had a small cabin in the school grounds ... we called it the murder house!

Chookie and Ral, enjoy your break away.  It sounds great and the Royal Mail has such a wonderful reputation I am sure they will spoil you both to bits.

Good morning everyone.  Overcast and cool here, rain expected later.

Chookie and Ral, enjoy your few days away at.  The Royal Mail sound lovely and I'm sure you will enjoy the garden.

Ha e a lovely well deserved break Chookie and Ral.

DH and I hope to pop away for a tiny break next week too.  We had a call last night to say his Mum has bronchitis, so we will see how she goes.
