How about a part of the forum with recipes that are not suited for thermomix?
-
Sounds like you might have some in mind bluesed but with the determination that some of our members show, they often keep at a recipe until they get it right for the TMX. Just by glancing at a conventional recipe, a lot of us know whether it will be successful or not. You will never know if you don't try it though. In a restaurant situation like yours, obviously your meals must be perfect or you would go out of business but for the home cook just feeding her family, we can be a little less pedantic.

Guess many of us use other sites for non-Thermomix recipes in Australia, so this has mainly concentrated on TMX recipes.
No reason not to have more non-TMX recipes - because there are loads.
Need to check with MM to make a new Section
-
I guess many uses other forums to look up recipes and then try them out on TMX. But i guess a part could be for non converted recipes and then enthusiastic TMX users could try to convert them if possible or just enjoy to cooking them the traditional way.
Anyway a funny section in the Spanish forum is "Recipes for men" :)

Ha ha! This section could be quite messy, and I can just imagine my DH contributions...he likes to add anything he can get his hands on to a recipe, and I have to watch him like a hawk as it ruins a perfectly good meal ;D ;D ;D

I think a recipe section for men would be fun.
-
What sort of recipes do you envisage having in there? I honestly don't know.

Suggested forum topics for that section from that 1/2 of this household
- I don't cook on days that end in Y!
- Barbque - (remember you bought the groceries, washed the lettuce, chopped the tomatoes, diced the onions, marinated the meat, cleaned everything up, but he "made the dinner")
- Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off
- I hate four letter words...Like Cook, Bake, Dust, and Wash
- I only have a kitchen because it came with the house
- My wife and I share work in the kitchen 50-50 - she cooks and I eat
- Vegetables are interesting but lack a sense of purpose when unaccompanied by a good cut of meat
- Why do croutons come in airtight packages? It's just stale bread to begin with

Good one Robyn, gotta love a man with a sense of humour.

Except it was what I believe should be in there on behalf of DH - but he does have a sense of humour Judy :D :D

My DH often the quotes the 'days ending in y' one to me. He retired 18 months before me so he was a house husband. Now he says 'anything he doesn't have to cook tastes good.'
