Yesterday I made a big pot of bolognaise sauce adding all sorts of things to it for DH's meals for 2 nights and heaps for the freezer.  I also used the pasta machine to make some spaghetti to go with.
For myself I made a couple of salads in a jar which had amongst other things, smoked salmon and asparagus in them.  Will have one for dinner today.  :)

I made a sweet bun loaf yesterday. Today's effort was some vegetable and pasta soup.

A date loaf as the cakae tin was empty.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I unexpectedly have a friend of DD's over for a play, so a quick batch of orange and date muffins is in the oven - with a chocolate button in the middle of each.

Jo, they will love those.
Dried another batch of Beetroot. Can't believe how it shrinks. Now to process it in the TMX into flakes.
Had some nut and seed butter with Quince jelly on rice crackers. Nice combination. Too nice ;D

Chookie last time DD and I were in Melbourne, the hotel we were at ( not the Swanston) had Beetroot chips with their drinks off an evening. They were delicious.

Morning all.
11 degrees forecast  today, I doubt it.  1 at the moment.
Have a SD loaf rising at the moment. It will have had 36 cold hours before it is baked.
Cookie, thought about leaving some as chips but decided I will probably use more as flakes.

Baked SD loaf in tin with slide on top. Increased the recipe by %10. Next time will increase by %20 so that it fills the tin.
Must make some Cold Slaw.
