I usually make this bread with plain four, and usuallly bread rolls instead of a loaf, and it has always come up trumps. One of the nicest softest breads I have ever made!

Made this when we were all unwell, I swear by the time we had finished the soup we weren't feeling sick anymore. Such a beautiful light soup with great flavours.

Non Food Recipes / Re: Washing Machine Powder

I made creampuffs recipe yesterday and am not my 4th load so far everything looks good and clean, though it didn't wash out the pumpkin soup one of the kids spilled on their clothes, but I imagine pumpkin soup may be something that stains. I have just added a cup of bicarb soda as I read that this is very good in the powder mix too, and would help whiten and brighten and soften. So I can't wait to see how the next load of washing turns out!

I've just made some of this up for the kids, definately very thick, I'll try with. Little less cornflour next time, but it makes great glue! :D

This is my first time posting a recipe(first time I have ever made one up) and I used cup measurements for a few things instead of weighing so I hope that's ok!

Banana coconut and chia muffins

125 grams butter
125 grams raw sugar
2-3 bananas
2 eggs
1 cup coconut
1 cup wheat bran
1.5 cups plain flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp chia seeds
50mls milk

Place butter and sugar in the tmx and mix 10 seconds speed 6
Add chopped bananas and mix 5 seconds speed 6
Add eggs mix 5 seconds speed 6
Add remaining ingredients and mix approx 10 seconds speed 4 until just combined.

Cook 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

KerrynN - DeeCat these are yummy! I will definitely make them again, perhaps with a bit less sugar though and maybe even replace with agave syrup (am trying to cut right down on sugar). Anyone suggest how much agave syrup to use in place of 125g sugar?

Kulsha - This turned out really nice. The chia seeds give a great texture and the coconut too! Nice and wholesome. My photo's colouring doesn't do them much justice as I took it on my phone, but in real life they look nice and golden.  I'll make these again, thanks.  Cool
