Today I made a Cranberry-Orange bread, which almost turned bad, because I'm such a bad cook, but the recipe is good, so I posted it in the bread section. Also made plain white rice, which didn't stick or overflow 

I also posted the lemon granité recipe in the dessert section, and I just might make myself a batch before the day is over!

hello all
today I made a mixed sees loaf, and a ham and cheese pull apart loaf Baf65 recipe. Was fantastic a huge hit with the family!!!
And I just took the Torta Caprese out of the oven mmmmmmmmmm smells good.

I used Stephanie Alexander's recipe.  I'm not sure the thermomix can whip egg yolks and sugar to the same degree of fluffiness as the Kitchenaid, maybe because the butterfly speeds are lower.  What do you think Thermomixer?  Or is this sacrilegious?

Think it's more to do with the number of "fingers' from the whisks and amount of air that gets in - but the Kitchen Aid is still my preferred implement for pavs.

I think you're right about the amount of air that gets in.  What I do wonder though, is that if I threw it all in together what would happen?  I might give this a go and report back.  It took me several goes to time these puddings to get the centre to remain liquid - to dry, too wet, just right!

We're having gnocchi and Arabiatta sauce for dinner tonight. It's a public holiday here today so it's something easy for dinner.
I love the way any extra gnocchi freeze.

 I need to did out an old recipe from Philippe Mouchel who ran the Paul Bocuse restaurant at Daimaru - he used to make these years ago (not in the Termomix)- will report back.

Yeah I was wondering if someone would pick that up!  I'll give the 'all ingredients at once' a go and see what happens.  I'm so full of food though it may not be for  a while......
