Boring from me. Ironing and a bit of housework.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Mab, have been reading about the wonderful benefits of home grown veggies and fruit. Go for it.
I planted pansies and lettuce seedlings. Won’t be planting toms for another month.

Had to have Ral new iPad fixed yesterday. It had frozen and we couldn’t fix it.

Visiting new eye Dr in Ballarat today. Have had the same Dr for Glaucoma for 20 years , in Melbourne. He is shifting to Doncaster and it is just too far to travel.  He recommended the new Dr.

That’s good Chookie, so much easier to have a local specialist.
Yesterday I went to a late afternoon session of Victoria & Abdul, enjoyed it immensely.
Today an outing for Mum, it’s her pacemaker check up.

Our TV reception has not been very good for a while now, so today we have the TV antenna man here to erect a new antenna and booster box.

That's not good Chookie. My new one did it once but then came good.

I've made a Yoke SD loaf and it is taking ages to rise as its cool and wet here today. It isn't the o ne I normally make so I hope its ok. I have also made a loaf bread using the roll recipe I used the other day.
Apart from that I  have been having a  little read.

New eye Dr great. Office girls very efficient. When changing Drs there always seems to be some small admin problem.  This was sorted out very quickly this time.

Finally got BBQ sorted. Looking forward to cooking outside. The BBQ is old but very good as it has a thermometer in the lid. Previously I have smoked in it , roasted the Xmas turkey and done the usual BBQ things. However I was very tempted by the amazing new outdoor kitchens that incorporate a BBQ.

Slowly working my way around the inside windows, giving them a good clean and washing curtains.

It’s a slow job these days Margaret, it took me 6 weeks to spring clean my house and garage, almost time to start again.  I have no curtains these days, one job I cut out to save time and climbing a step-stool. My window cleaner is worth far more than he charges it seems, someone recently told me how much they were quoted, 2.5 times more than I pay!  I cannot clean them as well and as quickly as he does so I now outsource the more difficult jobs as a gift to myself.

That's true, Cookie.  We don't have a very large living space but I still get cleaners in for one hour a week - it doesn't cost a lot and it also gives me spare time that I wouldn't otherwise have.

Mab, that is an excellent job cleaning your windows. In the country we seem to get very dusty windows.

Tonight we are baby sitting GS while GD and parents are going to fashion parade for VCE students. GD is modelling a garment made by one of the students at her school.

Just back from a walk around the marina with the dogs, good for them and extra good for me as I only walk when they are here.

Yesterday, walked around the garden poking at weeds with the poison wand. Very satisfying. Must give the Chooks some attention today. The little dears are laying like mad.
