Thanks Kathryn.  Mmm, still not sure how I would go about it.  Probably would add some sugar but not as much water.  You can always add more later if it is too strong.  If you try it debetha and it works, please let us know. On whisks blog http://notjustcake.blogspot.com/2010/08/pink-lemonadenaturally.html she adds 1 tamarillo in place of 1 of the lemons to make pink lemonade.

Our EDC recipe uses whole lemons debetha - it is a really simple one and I have made it many times on hot days.

I tend to not add the extra water, but dilute as I go along( often with soda water) as takes up less fridge room! Will be trying it this pm as have guests sun evening & may need to make more!

well have just sampled it with some lemonade I made up a few days ago - seems pretty perfect to me. Used 1/4 cup strawberry syrup (had about 1 extra cup of water in it, to help strain, but no extra water/ lemon juice), 1/4 cup of the lemonade recipe (double strength) and 1/2 cup water. very tasty. Hint of strawberry, might try increasing the strawberry content next time. Not overly sweet, might half the sugar in the lemonade, but that's all.
Off to make another batch for sunday night as reckon the kids would like some later!
Thanks JD!

Looks great JD! Thanks for the recipe as I have a tub of strawberries from Nan's garden that I need to get through quickly. Might try this one for visitors tomorrow night.

For a really simple pink lemonade here we use the EDC cordial made with raspberries or strawberries and mineral water which DD loves too.

Didn't get to this recipe in time JD unfortuantly. Instead though we had a wonderful day out at the local wineries. Forgot how amazingly nice it is to sit back on a beautiful day enjoying the atmosphere, the live music, food I thought my friend was well lets say in ecstacy over  :o :o and a glass of wine and the girls running around very happy with their faces painted & balloon swords so they can pretend to be Muskateers  ;D Bliss!

So will go off now and make some cordial...
