We needed “comfort food” seeing it’s a cold day here today so made Cottage Pie.Last night I cooked Fish and Chips. Friday evening DS brought a Spinach and Paneer curry for us.  Wednesday evening I made a Sausage Casserole in the slow cooker and we ate leftovers Thursday evening.

Happy Anniversary Chookie and Ral.

Lovely cars Cookie.

Still walking Chance twice a day. Recently finished a jigsaw of the Solar System and then started a flower picture jigsaw. This one is challenging🤪. Caught up with the laundry and cooked dinner.
Managed to bag a “Click and Collect” grocery slot for Thursday 😁.

I roasted a pork fillet that I wrapped in bacon. Served it with sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, steamed green beans, carrots and gravy.

Just walked Chance twice. It’s been particularly cold recently but fortunately we missed the snow that fell in the rest of the country.

Didn’t achieve a lot today. I had my weekly Skype chat to a group of friends this morning. This evening DH and I went to collect a “Click and Collect” grocery shop. Unpacking it I found a bad orange in my order, the other three oranges were fine.

Happy New Year Forum Friends.

DD phoned today she is having the Pfizer vaccine on Saturday as she is back on duty in the ICU from Wednesday joining the Proning Team again. Our death rate is horrendous from the Covid virus.

Merry Christmas to all of my Forum Friends. You have kept me sane during these horrible times.
I hope you stay safe and well until we are all enjoying better times.  I can’t wait for the vaccine to be rolled out to everyone. 🎅🎄🍾🥂

Wishing Ral a speedy recovery Chookie.

Not good news here. London and the South East of England which includes our County has been placed into a new Tier 4. We are in a full lockdown and Christmas has been canceled for us all. We won’t be able to see our DD and GS. It looks as though we will be in this situation until Spring which at the moment seems a long way away. COVID-19 has mutated and this new strain is even more transmissible. DH and I are trying to stay positive.

Stay safe everyone.
