I bought one of those Luv-a - Duck Peking, breast packs.  Wouldn't normally ,  but was for quick sale.  I cooked it in the AF in a dish and served it , sliced, on heated Rye soft wraps with spring onions , cucumber and plum sauce.  Was delicious. Then the Coconut Sorbet to follow.

Sounds quite decadent Chookie, very enjoyable I would imagine.
We had a KFC version of chicken last night. I was going to mix up some more of Chookie's KFC mix but didn't have all the ingredients, so I improvised. Soaked the chicken for about 6 hours in BUttermilk, drained it and tossed it in a mix of flour, paprika, garlic powder and salt. Also a teaspoon of sugar. Then used the AF. It was quite tasty.

Do you ladies really use your air fryers often; I was wondering if it is worth getting one or one of those other type I think are called Actify (sort of flatter and round) if you can understand that.

I believe Astarra has an actifry Troupie so maybe she might be able to fill you in on the pros and cons of the machine.

I have an Actifry Troupie, I bought it before the other girls bought their Phillips airfryer. If I had known about the Phillips I'd have bought that instead.

It has a paddle that moves the food around, which is ok for things like chips, but not so good for other things. I did arancini in it once and they were squashed by the paddle.  I see the other girls cooking things in their airfryer that I couldn't do in the Actifry.

I really don't use it much (I'm sure if I had a Phillips it would get more use).

Very jealous chookie. I've looked at them many times, but never priced cheap. Sounds delicious.

Troupie we use ours for quite a lot. I did a chicken dish like Chookie's KFC the other night and it was lovely. We do chips and wedges in it, also roast vegies. Most chicken things that need to be put in the oven and vegie things. I haven't used mine to do any bread rolls yet, or muffins but others do.

I thought I might try this in the air fryer. It comes from a slow cooker site... really great recipes.
This one is avocados halved, the stone taken out, and an egg put inside and cooked. I thought I might put ham or salmon inside as well. Topped with basil!

Hally, I bought a Prinetti air fryer, which is large, with a paddle.

I do chips for 20-30 minutes, with about 1 tablespoon of EVOO
simple, yummy, crunchy, works so well.
