I'm not sure about filo Judy.  I'm wondering if it would be too delicate and would burn?  I haven't seen anyone that has used it in the FB group but if I do, I will let you know how it turned out.  If I had some I would try it out for you to see then we'd both know  :D

I think I know what happened with my post disappearing last night as I nearly did the same thing a minute ago. I read through my post then almost left the page without actually pressing Post  :-))

We have had a bit of wind today but they say the worst will hit us about 1-2am. It’s always night time. I have the Port handy. DH has been out and moved things so that hopefully everything is safe. I’ve read that about 10,000 homes are without power at the moment. We have underground power fortunately. I’ve seen photos of damage.  Keeping sane at the moment. Thanks everyone.
TheSausage Roll maker has aroused my interest now! I will have to check it out. It would be so easy to make DH and DD easy lunches.

I love my Dyson. Although the battery doesn’t seem to last as long as it used too. I do use it a lot though.

I’m under instruction from RAL to get on the Forum and see that Cookie and her DH and DD are ok.  We have been looking at the news. Cookie, keep the Port close.
Last week we had a big storm go through.  Our neighbours dog kept trying to get into bed with them.
Michele, I hope you get the help you need for your Mum.

Hope you survived the night without too much drama Cookie.

Went for my morning walk, it was 5C but it felt so much colder today for some reason.  There was a little breeze so maybe that was the reason.  It was so good to get home and have a cuppa.

I don't have anything planned today except for the usual about home stuff, the sun is out and clear skies so looks like a nice day.  :D

Thanks for the detailed review on the sausage roll maker. Some company should employ you to test their appliances.Cold, rainy and windy today, actually the weekend was a washout too. Good day to stay indoors and cook with TMX 6.

I don’t often read the reviews that follow when I post a recipe, but this morning I flicked through some on the No Fuss bread post.  I thought this might make you smile.

We have all come such a long way with our machines.

We survived the night. It was pretty tough in patches but it could have been a lot worse. The people behind us lost a branch off a tree that came over onto our roof. No major damage thank goodness, just some dents. We have colourbond roof. The chainsaws were going a lot earlier this morning round the place.
Before I went to bed I lined up torches, the SES phone number and clothes to put on in case the worst happened. I figured if I was prepared I would be fine. I usually don't make a fuss but wind makes me spooked.
Lots of people had damage etc. I feel for them.

Thank goodness for that cookie, that branch could have done a lot of damage if it went through your window.

LOL Chookie, it’s so funny reading some of the things we wrote in the early days.

Glad that you survived the night Cookie.

Chookie - your no fuss bread recipe is the best. I also love Cookies Vienna loaf and Uni's rolls in an hour. I'm no cook, yet these bread recipes always turn out for me.

I remember when I first got my TMX I knew no one else who had one (this was about 10 years or so ago, I guess) then I stumbled onto this forum and the recipes were so inspirational and helpful it changed my whole cooking style - naturally, of course, being a TMX, but I became quite adventurous with the help of everyone on here.   Yes, it is fun to look back into the depths of the recipes and find old favourites that you had forgotten about.  As I recall I think we had a thread about re-discovering these old ones several years ago.
