Anyone watch last night?
I could live in that marquee btw.....so pretty!
I did cringe when Mark tried to lift a warm triple layer cake with his hands....LOL...what did he think the outcome was going to be  :D
...pies next week, should be good.

Yes it was funny in a sad way! Definetly you the marquee,very pretty.
Think i enjoyed the English one more, i guess because it was the first of that format. I hate how they copy to the tiniest detail,guess its in the franchise but i find it annoying. Saying all i will be watching next week

Yes I watched fell asleep before the end but heard the boxing guy got kicked off. You should go on that show Maddy  :)

I watched it and really enjoyed it. I could not understand how a couple of them got onto the show though. The average home cook is better. But then there is the pressure of time to go with it. I couldn't do it.

I quite liked the lady last night. She uses minimal words but seems to convey a lot.

I've given up on Masterchef as I wasn't really enjoying it.

Maddy I think you should consider it next year.

I watched it too, and enjoyed it!  I agree, the pressure of limited time makes it sooooo much more difficult.  I cringed too when the guy picked up the warm layered cake with his hands  :o :o :o

Maddy - you would knock their socks off!

I just finished watching this show on catch-up T.V.  I love it.  ;D  All the contestants are lovely and some of those birthday cakes amazing. Having said that the birthday cakes on this forum would have won hands down.

I didn't know how I would like Dan Lepard judging - think he's great.

Looking forward to next weeks pies.  :D

Yes I watched it and loved it. Loved the tent too. Kept hoping to see you there Maddy. Especially as it was filmed close by, give or take a few kms, and your cupcakes would have won hands down :).
Cookie, yes lots of pressure but all solved if they had a thermomix!

I could see why Maddy would love the tent - all vintage and pastels. I love anything retro in red.

 thanks for the votes of confidence, but there is many competent bakers here that should try out next time...I would imagine a lengthy elimination process, and if lucky enough to get through, truly, I swear like a sailor when under pressure  :P I couldn't show my face again LOL

I watched this last night on catchup tv. Quite enjoyed it. Some great cakes made, loved the bee cake. I would never be able to produce something under all that pressure. Next weeks show looks interesting.

I'm the same cookie have given up on master chief this year.
