I’ve bookmarked RTE fish pie Chookie. Yours looks delicious.
Reheated sone fish  pie in Microwave and it was fine.
Cookie, I added some prawns.  They added a bit of texture.

That pumpkin dish is cool Chookie, and your rolls and pie look delicious.
DS(20) had been to the orthodontist the day before Good Friday and his mouth hurt so our fish dinner had to be soft, easy to eat and very filling. Salmon and onion puff pie (doubled even though there was only 4 of us  :-))) with a simple salad hit the spot.

Cookie you have been cooking up a storm. Love all your photos.

I made a Fruitcake Bar slice today. It is more nuts than fruit. It looks delicious and has no fat, other than a bit from an egg yolk. It isn’t a Thermomix recipe but is extremely easy. It from David Lebovitz.

Ladies, there has been some great cooking happening while have been away.  It all looks delicious.

I bought myself a cast iron casserole dish while I was away just so I could make Chookies Superfast Dutch Oven Bread.  This is the result.  The bread is actually darker than in the photo.

I also made a Beef & Pasta Bake for dinner tonight.  It's good to be back in the kitchen :) :)

Judy, I think we could now consider living off our 5 acres.  ;D
We have fruit, nuts,  veggies , fish and eggs. I make bread, pasta,  jam and sauces. Dry and bottle excess.  I swap eggs and veggies for Chook food .i also swap things I make at the Creswick Swap for things I don’t grow such as figs.   What fun!,,

How lovely Chookie. We would call them Coonacks, but do you call them gilgies?  We used to have them in the dam on the farm when I was growing up. Delicious.

Today I made a Classic Loaf and a rye bread. ( new recipe) the rye is ok, but nothing to make me want to make it again.

I thought they were yabbies cookie.  Love your bread photos.
You’ve done so well to produce so much in such a short time Chookie, life is good for you.

We call them yabbies.  Used to catch them as kids with a bit of meat on string.
They tasted very nice but a lot of work for very little flesh.
Judy, even though we produce a lot of what we eat, it still hasn’t reduced the grocery bill .

Nice loaves of bread Cookie.

We also call them yabbies.  We have a couple of holes in the back yard (we have a creek running along the back) and often fine one on the lawn.

DH and DD like the Classic loaf as it’s sort of fluffy.  They don’t know that I put spelt flour and Oatbran in it t as well as heaps of seeds.

Today at lunchtime our weirdo (cockatiel) threw a wobbly as the little few crumbs of bread I gave him didn’t have chia in them.  Talk about spoiled! 😀
