Welcome back Hally. Are you going to rent or live in the apartment? The views would be amazing.

I bought a Shark handheld steam cleaner yesterday.  Really good got my screen doors and shower screens so far and no chemicals.

Bedlam, how did it go on your screen doors?  I have a front security door that has a wrought iron fancy grill on the front and a mesh that people can't see through when I open the door.  Love it but it's a bugger to clean.  Was wondering if there was something to make the job easier.  Have googled, but not a lot of info out there for what I want to use one for.  :)

I found it fantastic on my screen door.  It is security mesh.  I always find when cleaning I end up with dirty drips .  The steamer has microfibre pockets so together with the steam being quite dry it made a difficult job much easier. Easy to clean my painted front doors too.  As well as cleaning my walls of all the finger prints of my ex FC's. I have wanted one for quite a while ( borrowed my mums so new they were good) and was waiting for a special.  It didn't happen, maybe a bit like Thermie they hold there price. $198.00.  Very happy.

What model number was it Bedlam?

Well, I've just finished browsing the South African TMX cookbook Katie lent me.  It's a huge book, 282 pages with quite a few South African recipes. I've written out a few recipes to try.

I'm puzzled by some things I read but unless you make the recipe, I guess you can't prejudge.  I've put 2 such recipes on my list.

I like the Cooks Notes on a lot of the recipes.  If there are alternatives ingredients you can use, they list them.

Overall I think it's a great book, recipes are well laid out but there are not a lot of photos unfortunately. It's yet to appear on Aust HO website as being available to purchase.

Thanks Katie, it was a great prize to win.

Marina, it doesn't seem to have a model number just Shark steam pocket cleaner.
Lucky you Judy, look forward to seeing the new recipes.  Even luckier Katie, if it's not available here.
