I didn't want Christmas food for my family here today as we are all having roasts tomorrow so I did

Marinated Chicken legs
Crumbed chicken tenderloins
Cheese & ham pastries from FFS
Spinach dip in a homemade cob loaf with slices of a no fuss bread stick to dip
Prawn, avocado, lettuce & mango platter
Swedish Ice-cream cake with raspberry coulis
Salted caramel fudge

DJ, did you stir Bron's garlic rice every 3 minutes as per the recipe?  It always cooks in the correct time for me but not if I forget to stir it.  I now set a timer for each 3 minute stir  ;)

I never let guests do washing up, it all goes into the dishwasher.  They do help tidy the table and bring everything out to the kitchen though.

I am sitting listening to my family do the dishes after I served and cooked a beautiful lunch.  Glazed ham pistachio and cardamom turkey, all home grown roasted veggies now for dessert cherry cheesecake, trifle, plum pudding and fruit mince pies washed down with champagne.

Roast duck with raspberry sauce, will post recipe later,
Ham, turkey, roast veg, and all the trimmings.
No desert yet, we are to full.
Chocolate Ice cream or christmas pud, brandy custard and cream,
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Just the 2 of us so we only had a pork rib roast with the best crackling ever and lots of vegies - no dessert, too full.

Jeez, you were lucky BB! I cooked all the lunch and then had to do all the dishes :-)) By hand!
