ES I did 35 minutes in the pressure cooker making sure they were all covered in the liquid and then used the slow natural release method (stove top pc). Once the time was up, I removed the ribs (thoe bones fell away from the meat) and covered the meat with foil and placed in a low oven to keep warm. I then strained the liquid and put back in the pc and reduced over a high flame until the liquid was a more sauce consistency. Once our veggies and rice were ready I then uncovered the meat and poured the sauce over the meat and everyone helped themselves. today for lunch I had the left over veggies and rice with some of the sauce poured over. The sauce is very rich once reduced so you may want to check before pouring it over the meat.

My sister came over for tea so it was Greek Lamb & Vegie Tray Bake from the C*les free mag (yummy/easy), and then Bread & Butter Pudding(her fave dessert) with homemade brioche bread from the EDC. Not normally a big lover of b&b pudding but the brioche was gorgeous - sort of cake like (and I upped the sugar to 130g as suggested for a sweeter bread) sister loved it and said she is going to ring mum and tell her to lift her game ha ha

Funnily enough the bread just wasn't doubling in size like normal. Reasons for this is possibly it is quite coolish here of late, and also my dry yeast is on the cusp of expiry. After about 2.5 hours of waiting around I chucked it in the oven and it actually rose beautifully. The whole loaf is used for this recipe bar 3cm (in my tin).

So this review of the Bread & Butter pudding is from the latest EDC CP? 

I'm not sure how to go about linking the new recipes from that book, whether to just add them to the current EDC recipe review list or start another list for the new book.

I was thinking the same thing Judy... Maybe if the recipes were listed with the old version but (2013) at the end of the title to help avoid confusion? ACW said somewhere she looked at 8 recipes and they were the same in both editions for her.... There are possibly a lot that are the same.

Given the recent problem with my blades I felt that 650g was a lot if hard sticky dough for the machine and I did hear it straining a bit. For that reason I won't be making the brioche often.

Using up bits&bobs tonight, so on offer will be marinated chicken drummettes, fish fillets, salad, roast potato, pumpkin and kumara, steamed veg and brocolli muffins I just made!  :)
