Chit Chat / Frozen fagioli?
« on: June 06, 2014, 09:52:44 am »
I'm not sure where to ask this question... sorry if it's the wrong forum!

Can the pasta fagioli (thermie style) be frozen?

TIA!

Chit Chat / Silly question! Sorry!
« on: January 27, 2011, 08:35:40 am »
Hi all,

Silly question. How do I contact HQ? Do I just call the freecall number listed on the website?

(Cookbook and invoice not here still. Hate having to resort to this).

Chit Chat / Buying recipe books online?
« on: December 18, 2010, 10:58:15 pm »
Due to reasons which I won't post here (but am happy to explain through PMs if anyone is interested), I'm not able to get further recipe books at the moment through my consultant. Has anyone bought thermomix cookbooks from ebay before? Are they more/less expensive?

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / chopped dried mushrooms
« on: November 10, 2010, 12:39:11 pm »
Hi,
I've seen some recipes which use chopped dried shitake mushrooms for added flavour. Do you chop the dried shitake mushrooms in the thermomix? Is it too hard/tough and will it spoil the blades?

Thanks in advance!

Introduce Yourself / Hi from Adelaide!
« on: November 08, 2010, 08:53:38 am »
Hello everyone,
After 2 years of saving, I've finally bought my thermomix! Alas, timing wise is not too good as there're many things going on ie full-time work and study and hence I've not had the chance to experiment much with recipes.
Currently I've tried the vegetable concentrate (must have!), hot chocolate (with grated chocolate, YUM), homemade mayonnaise, ragu sauce.
I've also tried the pasta fagioli which I like and the risotto which I still have to work on.
Not brave enough to try the Varoma yet though.
All in all, I'm excited and am looking forward to trialing different recipes in the thermie when things aren't this hectic. Meanwhile, am looking for easy, preferaly one-pot (jug) meals that I can whip up after work.
Thanks for this fabulous forum and generous people sharing recipes.

:)
