Was it just you then Chookie?
No, neighbours had same problem but needed to switch off router.  This is what we were told to do also. This apparently resets it.

Chookie, that is what I have to do when my internet drops out.  I also have my phone through the internet so that can be a problem.   This has only been happening since the NBN has been connected.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I'm dreading the NBN. I think we have at least another 12 months to go. Some people have no dramas but many others have major problems.

Mab, what fun.  You are spoiling them.
This is the first problem we have had with the NBN.  I will gladly put up with it.  The satellite connection we had in our “ black spot” at Cherokee was dreadful.
I asked Ral, what did we do before we had our iPads.  He said we probably read more.

Well we went to apple today so they could change over DS old phone to one that my DM had passed on to him , which needed a new battery ! Appointment needed 1 hour later ! Then maintenance 2 hours to replace battery !! Also they changed the SIM card and swapped all info to the other phone . Job done , little shopping and lunch . Drove home , had it . DH cooked egg and tomato on toast . Heat pack on knee , maybe I should have seen the GP about my knee . Kids happy great time in Melbourne.

K Atie,  sounds like a good day all round. Helps when the kids are happy.
We are baby sitting Cooper.  He is a big white bitza dog. He is a rescue dog and had a few issues with men when DD first got him.

How far are you from Melbourne Katie?

Katie & Richard came around today and spent a few hours here sorting out all the problems with the new home phone, iPad and mobile phone.  Still had to go to Telstra as there seemed a problem with the SIM card, turns out it was out of data!  All good now, I think I’m set up really well with all this new equipment and how good is it to know people like K & R who are prepared to help out when needed.

Happy dog sitting Chookie. DD and DS worked all day today putting DD IKEA desk and desk top together . No help from me either. Looks great , simple things can bring so much pleasure and gratitude. It even has a Charging  station . DD was so pleased she FaceTimed DGM to show her their work . Plastic and cardboard removed to shead win win . Resting knee that keeps twanging .

K Atie your knee sounds painful. Chookie you must be good dog sitters.
Judy what would we do with people to help us like K and R? I hope they are both well.

DD and I went shopping today. I used some of my Dymocks vouchers. I have so many books to read, I would have to be still and quiet and do nothing else for a month to get through them. That’s not counting the ebooks.  DD is sent heaps because of her blog.

K Atie,  your kids did very well.  We nearly had a divorce when we built a flat pack Chook shed.
Judy , you are lucky to have such good friends to help you out.

I went to the mail sorting office this morning to complain about always getting the wrong mail.  The next town to us has a street the same as mine and we always get their mail. It is always clearly addressed to the next town but that doesn't seem to make any difference.  I always return it to the PO but it keeps happening, so today I went and saw the boss at the sorting building.  It seems I am not the only one in our street with this problem.  The boss had just finished giving the sorter a talking to about it when I walked in with another letter.   This has been going on for over a year now so I decided enough was enough.  I don't like the chances of that young man keeping his job.
I also made a complaint about our postie who spends a considerable amount of time inside a house further down the street.  I probably shouldn't have said anything but I was so annoyed with it all that I just let  it all out. >:( >:(
I will get off my high horse now. :)

Margaret I don’t blame you re the wrong deliveries.  We have all the streets round here starting with Be, we get others mail and walk to the correct address. I hope they do the same for us.
I had a laugh about the postie having a stop off at a certain house, he certainly shouldn’t be doing that either.
We are fortunate at the moment and know how postie very well.  He even drops the mail at the garage door for us if it’s wet and gives us a beep to pick it up. DD receives a lot of books because of her blog and also receives a lot of journals because of her job.
