Sounds nasty DJ. Get well soon (but enjoy being waited on)

DJ  stay in bed and rest as much as you can. Your body is telling you something . Read a good book .

I had a wonderful lunch today with my sewing friends; we all brought a plate and enjoyed friendship and fine food. Three of us have thermies so exchanged notes.

DJ get well soon.

Thanks troupie. Sounds fun.

Still in bed now watching Aussie drama. Dr Blake Mysteries, and a place to call home. They are both on every afternoon after lunch.

I was never one to watch much TV at all DJ but I do now and have started watching the Dr Blake Mysteries as well as a Touch of Frost.  I'm told they're repeats at the moment but they're all new to me  :D I can't come at the Poirot shows though.

Sounds like you had fun troupie.   Our group tries to meet once a week, more talk than sewing tho. :D

I don't like the Poirot ones either Judy. I have been reading more than watching tv.

I'm ripping through the Morpeth library these days Jean, I think I'm on my 6th book from there but I only read when I go to bed.  I may start picking up a book during the day/evening once Christmas is done and dusted as there'll be nothing to do then will there  :D

I too enjoy reading much more than watching tv although at the moment not much time for either.
Taking mum out for lunch today, well lunch for me as she will only have coffee and cake.  ;D

I like a Touch of Frost as well and unlike some of you, I love Piorot (have read all the books which are always better than TV) and do like to watch him and also Miss Marple. I also love Escape to the Country and Classical Destinations but mostly like to read rather than TV.

Mab19, we get together once a month and there is also more talking done than sewing. I also meet with the Australian Sewing Guild and enjoy that.

It's his voice that annoys me troupie so yes, I can understand the books being better.
