Hi everyone. Haven't been on for so long as life here has been so very busy.
Hope you are all doing well.
Some good news to announce as my DS and DIL are expecting baby number two in June and so far all good. Little Sophie who is now 3 is very excited to be having a little brother or sister and for us this will be GK 12 c.
Just back from our family holiday which was to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and my double 30th birthday  ;D
We all  21 of us which was our 4 children, their husbands and wives and our GK's  had a great time and now all back to normal routine.
Have missed this special forum and hopefully will be posting again as normal.
Trudy hope you feel better soon  :)

Will try that today ladies as still no pins in the post. Had lots of GK's all week so didn't have any opportunity to go near the shops and too hard going to the bank with 5 or 6 little ones.

Gert GD thinks  the culinary Olympics 2016 is being held in Germany and yes she has a job in Switzerland starting sometime in the new year. Very happy for her  ;D

Uni what a horrible day and especially at this time of year.  :(

I have a credit card problem here as I had attempted fraud on one of my cards while DH was in NZ so had to cancel it. My other 2 cards expired within a week of each other and the replacements came through with the information that the PIN numbers would follow in the post. So far nothing so I am without my plastic fantastic!!! Can use online without a pin but too late for Christmas  deliveries.. Not happy.

On the positive note I received news from GD this afternoon to say she had just been invited  to join the national team to compete in the Culinary Olympics in 2016.  :D

Sounds right up my street Denise  and very yummy  :)

Last night kids requested scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage  and hash browns for breakfast . Don't have hash browns but do have scottish potato scones so that will have to do.

Good morning everyone.  :D
A busy few days here as I have had DD's kids while GK 4 was having a surgical procedure.
Also had another few here for a sleep over last night while parents went to John Legend concert.  So six for breakfast  now although 3 are still asleep  ;

Muffins and nougat look delicious  :)

I am going to make  some savoury tarts as part of my Christmas buffet food today. I haven't  decided on the fillings yet. Can't do sit down and serve for 30+ people so I always have lots of different dishes for everyone to take what they want.

My favourites too. Coffee stays warm and not hot on the hands. I love them. Beautiful gift Kezza
