Funny, mine is never gritty with the hazelnuts - but that could be because I don't roast them first, just use them raw, skin and all. This is my recipe here (http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/2009/10/chocolate-hazelnut-spread-dairy-free.html). I think I'll try it with macadamias next time though!!
