Hi Sofia
Yay! My Arnie arrive this arvo!
Made Cacciatore Chicken Rissotto (recipe found on this forum) - absolutely delicious!!!!  But recipe was enough to feed a whole army ... and there is only DH and I in our household!   Heaven forbid, I may need to buy a chest freezer!  Followed it up with a Raspberry, Banana and Orange sorbet ... again so much food!  Have put remaining half of sorbet in freezer, but methinks it will freeze rock solid, worth a try anyhows.
I will definitely need to halve most recipes otherwise we will end up on Biggest Loser before too long!  Will make the veg stock concentrate tomorrow morning and take it from there, very happy so far.

I think you may find that your freezer will now become your second best friend - used in conjunction with the TMX mine is certainly getting a great work out.

My freezer has never worked so hard or been so full since getting the TM. Following all the tips on this forum I now freeze just about anything that is not used immediately (herbs, leftover coconut milk, breadcrumbs, etc). Seems like every time I want to cook something I just need to go to the freezer as I have previously put some of the ingredients in there. I'm thinking of getting a few small magnetic whiteboards (I have 3 freezers) so I can see at a glance what is in each as I do quite often have to search for what I am looking for. Don't really know why I didn't freeze that much before - just too busy I guess. Lots of free time now I have the TM - I wish.  ;)

Thank goodness for freezers. We used to only use ours for meat, bread, frozen vegies and icecream. Now it has very little of those things in it. :-))

Kathy - sounds like you are having just as much fun with your machine as I am. My family are certainly enjoying everything I'm making. Yes, I've started thinking about a chest freezer as well  ;D Haven't quite worked out how to change the cooking times when halving recipes as it's just 3 of us - DH, DD4 and me. Lots more experimenting...

I recently asked question re: halving recipes, apparently temps same but time is reduced to 80% of original is rule of thumb. Thankfully  Woolworths have sale on clip top containers at present so stocking up on these and labeling the leftovers in freezer with masking tape strips so I can remember whats what!  So far simply love the scales function so useful and reduces dishes too!
