Yes it's a great recipe Chookie, the kids (and DH) always get excited when they ask 'what's for dinner' and I reply KFC chicken, usually the response is something like
'yes thanks mum'
'I love you mum'
'your the best'
'nice'
'oh good cause I'm so hungry'
:D

Love this, Dede.   Our GC say,  is it the same as last time?  Then eat it all up.   They are not good eaters,  so it is great that they like this.  Usually serve with steamed veggies in Varoma and mashed pots,

I used the mixture last night with some plain flour as coating for flathead fish...yum, e en my dd who hates fish had seconds

Courton,  glad you did this.  I also do this.  Gives a nice little kick to the coating. Not bad with Japanese breadcrumbs also.

We put it on our oven roasted potato and sweet potato wedges tonight. Very tasty.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

This has probably been asked before but I don't have time to read 17 pages before going to the shops! What sort of paprika do I use? Hot, smoked or sweet?  TIA

I would just use the sweet paprika, don't know what Chookie used though Brumington.
