Thanks Judy, it's a lovely treat.

Wonder I used chicken breast fillets sliced in half lengthways, the photo shows one of those slices.

I deep fry on 180C for about 3-4 mins, 2 at a time, the end result is lovely and crunchy but the insides are lovely and moist.

I have tried various methods (baking in the oven, shallow frying then finishing off in the oven) but have found the quick deep fry to get the best results and not at all fatty.  :)

Not the same Kim and costs too much.  I always seem to have to buy new cartridges after printing out ebooks.

True jd but better than nothing and unfortunately ebooks are alot less to produce .. I do prefer a hard copy though.. Still would take an ebook over nothing :)

How can you hand down to your grand-children anything but a hard copy of your favourite recipe book - it just wouldn't seem right. ;)

Judy, have you thought of printing using black ink only?  If it's just to be able to follow the recipes in a printed form away from your computer it would be cheaper than using coloured ink.  You could just check the ebook itself when wanting to see the photos. :)  Or what I do is cut and paste into a document and follow from there (on my laptop), I can set out the recipes how I like them, and add any notes of anything I've done differently for the next time.  :)

What I would like to do is just print the recipe and forget about the photos Julie.  As much as I love a photo to sell a recipe, the cost to print them out is just not worth it.  I'm still filling in the missing words from my print out, such a big job.

Goldfish, save the pdf, then you can copy and paste the recipes from the saved file into a word doc.  You can't do it straight from the un-saved pdf (I tried).

When I got my copy of the book, I went through and did this with almost all of the recipes, I could then set them out how I like with the accomanying extras needed to make any of the recipes eg I put together the sugar & spice, gingerbread cookies, speculoos spread and ice cream bombs together as the spice mixture is used in all those recipes.

Once I've made a recipe and if it's one I will make again, I make up it's own page with a photo then put into my recipe folders (on my laptop) under the corresponding section.  The recipe in the word doc gets deleted as I've already made it and no longer need it there  IYKWIM.  I still have the saved pdf file as a reference.  I did the same thing with the Desserts ebook too.  Hope you can understand this.  ;D

Judy, if you understand what I mean you could do the part of pasting to a word doc where you can then print from. Just paste one recipe after another in the one document, doesn't matter how many pages it takes, you can just print off the pages you want at any time (or all of them of course).   It will save you a lot of ink, time and trouble.  :)
