I'm not overly thrilled with this book. I'm not a fan of vegan or raw and there's a lot of both. There's also a few recipes from Tenina's other books which I find annoying because I have all Tenina's books.
There's not a huge amount I'm that keen to try.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

That's annoying, I don't know if I want it, my husband hates vegetarian food, although he'll eat it if forced.

I'm sure there are some nice dishes in the book. Tenina is a master of flavour. There's a lot of Mexican, but not much Indian, which is a shame as some of the Indian cuisine is entirely vegetarian and super delicious.
I'm not entirely sure where one can find such ingredients as chipotle chilli in adobo sauce.

Megan, I bought a couple of big cans from this place a couple of years ago and have frozen them individually with some of the sauce to use in recipes.  A pain I know to have to order on line, but I find I have to do that with some things if I want to make recipes as stated.  :)

For those in WA chipotle chiles in adobo are available in gourmet shops such as Kakulas Sisters (and probably Simon Johnstons). They keep for ages in the fridge once the tin is opened, and I've successfully frozen them as well. I agree re the book, raw foods don't enthuse, and quite a few recipes I already had in Tenina's other books or on her website. I was gifted the book so will certainly try some recipes.
