Judy, Max was asking after you. Iím glad you enjoyed the SD Crumpet. Great idea mixing it with Bonox.
Yesterday I made a large amount of pea and ham soup in SC. Stacked full of veggies. Made garlic croutons in AF.
Mab, glad you enjoyed the French toast. Iím thinking Bread and Butter pudding might be nice.

Mab, Judy and Marina too many Dr visits , but essential. Over the last year I also have had a series of medical appointments. Hate then. Not good at coping with this so I feel for what you are all going through. However things are settling down for me and I hope soon for you.

Yesterday had lunch with Probus at Graigs hotel in Ballarat. Enjoyable meal and company.
Cleaning the silver and preparing for Sunday afternoon tea for Probus ladies.

Judy was a joy to have around.  Although her tummy wasnít ready for the different foods , we had fun thinking outside the square.
GS and girlfriend are coming tonight to practice on Ralís big coffee machine for my Probus Scone Afternoon Tea on Sunday. Should be fun.

Love the sound of the Motor Home. Very exciting.

Iím not sure what we will do today. There is a lot of Covid and flu in Ballarat and we are avoiding the crowds.

KAtie, the bone broth is so easy to make and so expensive to buy. Maggie Beer has it for sale for $8.20 for 500 mls. If you are travelling through Ballarat, there is a wholesale Butcher called Davis who sell the bones cheaply.

Last night Judy and I had soup and pancakes for dinner. The soup was cauliflower, zucchini and potato with chicken stock and garlic croutons. The pancakes were with added roasted banana, maple syrup and ice cream. Judy is very brave and tries all the experiments I come up with. We work well together in the kitchen. This is our last full day before DD and I drive her to the Airport, I will be sad to see her go.

Itís been lovely having Judy here. We have been trying lots of different foods  she has introduced me to several different tropical fruits that I probably wouldnít have tried. I hope I have stretch her recipe collection so she has more variety in what she eats.

Made custard in TMX and added Nutmeg and Brandy and produced Egg Nog . Judy impressed with Cookidoo.
Making 12 serves of pumpkin soup for DD , for Club function.
Cream of crab soup today possibly.

Marina, my printer has been playing up. I think DS has fixed it. I will try and print off the bread recipe for your DH and post it to you.
Judy and I will play around with some recipes today .
Yesterday I baked a Helen Goh cake recipe for a healthy cake. Ď morning Gloryí . I made 15 muffin size cakes. They were quite tasty but needed lots of butter which cancelled out the healthy bit. However, they were exceptionally easy as once the carrot and Apple were grated in the TMX, everything else was just added and mixed. I think I may have slightly over cooked them.
I made lemon butter for my GD. She served it hot over ice cream.
