Tips/Hints:
I used rapadura sugar because it is less processed and has a higher molasses content than refined sugars. You may substitute raw sugar.

Kimmyh - Lovely recipe Den. Really straight forward to make and nice taste. Not too sweet which is good. Mine are a bit lighter as only had normal self raising flour but still good and hard to stop at one. Thank you.

Miss 50s - Yummo!! - divine. Just sweet enough for me.

Lovely looking biscuits den. Rapadura is popping up in many forum recipes but I can't find it at the supermarket. Where do you get yours from?

Kimmyh I bought mine at a health food store but it is very expensive to purchase that way.

I have searched on line and you can source bulk applies a but cheaper. Rapadura is sugar cane juice that has had the water evaporated off. It is not produced in Australia.

Thanks Den. Just read about it on Quirky Jo's blog. Think I might buy a small amount to try first, then go the bulk if happy with it. Already regularly buying some superfoods online but can't seem to get all in one place for one lot of postage. Will check to see if they sell it but from memory they sell palm sugar which is different again. Thanks again can't wait to try the cookies.

I've just switched to Rapadura love the taste. You can get it in bulk at 2 brothers. It's $30 for 5kgs but you can buy less than that.

That seems like a good price for rapadura.  I have not been able to find it in large quantities near me. I have to buy it on line if I want it in bulk.

I really like the taste and would like to switch over to using rapadura exclusively.

wonderful looking biscuits DD.  I have found rapadura at the markets and those bulk produce stores such as weigh and pay and Kakulas if you are in WA
