I tried these today. I used 2 x 7g satchets of yeast, might have been too much as the dough was really sticky and stringy after rising, not sure if that's normal?  I had to use quite a bit of flour for kneading as it was sticky so didn't worry about rolling out, I just shaped into the rolls and baked. I think they still worked nicely though, they raised sideways more than upwards so turned out like flat rolls instead of baguettes.  :-)) They were golden and soft, we had them for lunch as beef and salad rolls. I'll make them again as I like the idea of using some rice flour for something different, but I'll measure out the yeast properly next time. I took a photo but iPad won't allow me to upload, will try later on other computer.

Hi kulsha, yes the dough is very sticky, i had a lot of flour on my hands and where I was working with the dough.

I think these  are well worth making.

Hi Kulsha, pretty sure I would not use more than 4 x teaspoons or 1 x 7g sachet of dried yeast. I have made these but wish I could remember what I did...

Thank you!
I was a llittle over-confident and threw 2 satchets in, I kinda thought it would be around a tablespoon by doing a quick look and shake of the satchet - but was wrong. It was very stringy and yeasty and am surprised they still worked.  I would like to buy the yeast that comes in a little tub rather than satchets but our Woollies doesn't sell it any more. Will measure out properly next time and still love the recipe and will make it my regulars. Freezes well too !!  ;D
