The RTE chicken was moist but didn’t like the sugar based topping. The rice  with kale I made in TM.  Was very nice. Very easy.

Pumpkin soup.

With crumpets? I'm trying a thermobexta recipe of pasta and all sorts of tomato and basil.

We had sausages with onions in home made rolls-DH's request for his birthday tea. DD's friends thought it hilarious that he wanted a Bunning's sausage sizzle for his birthday tea.
Tonight we're having RTE garlic chicken. I just saw it on Instagram and thought it looked nice. I'm menu planning and doing the shopping  list.

DH needs are very simple cookie, makes life easy for you!  I hope he had a lovely birthday, his ‘Bunnings sausage sizzle’ meal was funny but it’s his day and his choice . What man doesn’t like a sausage sizzle.

Cookie, I share your DH liking for a sausage in a roll. It is his choice, his Birthday.
I always ordered Bread and Butter Pudding for my Birthday, as a child.  No one else liked it.

Belated Birthday Wishes to your DH Cookie.

I'm planning a Chicken and Mushroom stew type of dish for dinner tonight. GS likes mushrooms.

DH says thank you to everyone. I wanted to make him a rice pudding too but he said he had cake to eat. ;D
We are going to have it another day, and I think a Bread and Butter pudding too, with sultanas in. Yum
