Banana mars bar cake

Banana mars bar cake.
This quick and easy cake is sure to be a hit with
everyone!

150g butter
100g brown sugar
2 eggs
2 bananas
125ml milk
300g self-raising flour
3 x 60g Mars Bars, chopped


Pre heat oven to 180º.
Cream butter and sugar on speed 4 for 1-2 min or until pale and creamy.
Add the eggs, bananas and milk and process for 30 sec on speed 4.
Fold in flour and Mars Bars for 30 sec on reverse -speed 2 using the spatula to assist incorporation if necessary.
Bake in a 21 cm loaf pan for 50 –55 min or until cooked through.
Allow to cool and top with Chocolate Ganache (pg 160 Everyday Cook book)

Riv_Mum, They look awesome. Now let's see, bananas are good for you, so are eggs.........oh what the heck let's just eat it all.  As Thermomixer said, let the belt out another notch.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

noooooooo i've just lost nearly 6kg and i'm NOT putting it back on! LOL

i will have to make this for morning tea at work so everyone else can put the weight on  ;D

CONGRATULATIONS - 6kg - after the curry blow out - I am MIGHTILY impressed.  What period was that over?

If only ......  One day.....  :-\  :-[   ::)  I know that I can do it, but Will Power has desserted me ( I no how to spel !! -desserts have been my downfall)

CONGRATULATIONS it is so hard isn't it?  I love baking and shouldn't eat any of the things I make. I send them to daughter's work with her.  They think I am kind but really I am trying to save my waistline.  Hang in there.

thermomix-er - only 3 weeks believe it or not! (i didn't gain or lose anything last week!) in my first week i lost 3.9kg which was incredible!
