It sounds very exciting Yvette. Is it very hot there?

Yvette enjoy the shopping and hope the last few days go smoothly with dh and trip home..

Bedlam, Jd yes she is excited but is also saying ill miss you mummy when i go to school lol :(( im sure it will all be fine.. We have done this all before a few years ago in France... And she has already done 3 trial days so is familiar with the classroom etc..

Can i ask other mums of young ones a question... My kids have always attracted alot of attention but more and more total strangers are photographing and filming them (happened again two days ago and 2 days prior to that) which is freaking me out and nobody in my circle of family and friends would Either do that to someones kids they dont know or find it normal!! Does this happen to your kids and does it also freak you out or bother you?? What is wrong with ppl?? Or is this common??

Kim yes I have had issues with people taking photos of my kids not so much the boys now they are older but with dd yes,  more so from tourists so if we go to places that are touristy (is that even a word) it happens,  if they ask I say no politely its the ones who just take the photos I have issue with.
When we were in Singapore it happened a lot but I expected that since 2 of my kids are blonde they tended to stand out :D

Thanks suzanne... Good to know although with me not only in touristy areas..Its always my kids for some reason.. Can have friends kids playing with them and nothing to them just my two.everytime :( . .. Creepy.. I also get ppl trying to get their attention behind my back and when i turn they act like nothing happened, i smile and when im distracted they do it again.. If they did it in front of my face I wouldnt have an issue but the sneaky thing bugs me.. Anyway creepy ppl vent over but would be curious if this happens to more ppl or just the select unfortunate few?

Frozzie, our kids are blondies and we often get Asian tourists wanting to take their photos BUT they mostly ask and are very very friendly and gracious. I would be really creeped out by people doing stuff like that behind your back ! I don't think I could hold my tongue, I'd have to say something. If it makes you feel uncomfortable ...... it's offensive.

Morning all.  Just catching up.  We have been in a Melb for 2 days.  Dr appointments and catching up with family.
Uni,  sorry to hear your sad news.
Yvette,  you are well on the way home.  Home your DH can rest. Horrid being ill while away.
Emme,  I am sure the Specialist will sort out your problem.
Frozzie,  not nice.  Perhaps if you carry a camera or phone and take a photo of these people,  it might discourage them.
Warming up again here . Better get up and water the pots.

Thought I would share photo of Brunch .  It was delicious.  SD Rye bread, avo, bacon, goat feta and soft boiled eggs.  Don't know how they did the eggs!

What a great breakfast Chookie.  The eggs just looked boiled and peeled to me.

Kim, you are quite within your rights stopping people photographing your children.  They are probably not thinking and just think they are so cute - they should know better though.

Thanks judy.. I do ask them to stop but do so as politely as possible as i hope most of them are just not thinking but even still the desire to film or photograph someone elses kids who have no connection to you is just weird.. Im usually more shocked than anything then a little scared for my kids.  Next time i will be a bit more vocal and adamant that its just not acceptable.  Anyway grrr

Hope everyone is enjoying their day :)
