I finally found a packet of skinless hazelnuts in Foodland this week - I bought a packet but for no reason, just because I was so excited to see them skinless.  I've made enough nibbles for Christmas otherwise I would make this recipe.

Sorry cookie mine was a bit tacky too. But I solved that problem, I dipped the next batch in white chocolate.

Good thinking.
I've cut this batch up and we just take a piece from the fridge when we want it. If we end up with baking paper stuck to it, too bad.

I didn't think baking paper was supposed to stick to food Cookie  ???

I hope not Judy, because I also have this in the fridge, in a dish lined with baking paper. I'm pretty sure it doesn't ;)

I made this yesterday but I used macadamias instead of hazelnuts because I had already made some hazelnut chocolates. We'll see how the guests like it tomorrow :)

I just made this today - still in the fridge in a paper-lined tray. I cooked it for 3mins extra to hopefully reduce stickiness, not that I have made it before, so can't really compare

After cooking, I put milk in the bowl and heated to 80deg and had a beautiful jaffa hot chocolate (even though it is a hot day)  ;D

Even I can put my hand up to rolling jaffas down the aisle! ;D I tried it with smarties once but they don't work as well unless you can get them to stay on their side ;)

Judy the fudge peels off the baking paper when it is in the fridge, but if out for any period of time it gets very sticky. I added the Grand Marnier to mine too. It is ever so tasty.

Same here - big hit.
It was a bit sticky so I sprinkled icing sugar on the dish, and more on top, and it seemed to do the trick making it easy to pick up and hold.
