Good news for your checkup Cookie.
Glad your SD classes went well Chookie.

Oh poor Chance, I hope those antibiotics kick in quickly.
You and Ral are a perfect team Chookie, an extra pair of hands is always needed in cooking classes. Where do you get your energy from to start cooking for yourselves the next day??

Well done Ral. Having a helper at any time is marvellous.

Poor Chance. I do hope he recovers quickly, he must hurt so much.

Judy, following day, soup from freezer and leftover SD bread. Ral had a pie from the freezer for lunch.  I had 2 meals of soup.

I virtually live out of my freezer, last week I spent $2 and this week it will will be nothing. Even though I’m always trying to reduce the contents, I must say I do like the convenience of just grabbing something out the night before and making life so easy.

Just getting ready to head up to Creswick Market to catch Chookie's SD class.  Looking forward to it and to catching up with her and Ral.

Morning all.
SD demo at Creswick Farmers Market went off ok.  Easier to do hands on at home.
It was great to catch up with Marina and her DH. We certainly enjoyed their company for lunch.
It is truely amazing the good friends that we have made through the Forum.

It certainly is Chookie. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

I agree totally about the friends we have made through this forum and this post isn’t so much what I have done today, or what I am going to do today, it’s what I did two days ago with one of my forum friends!

DH and I went to Creswick Market to catch up with Chookie and attend her SD baking class.  We spent a happy hour, on a miserably cold and damp morning learning about SD breads and had the added pleasure of tasting Chookie’s SD crumpets (which she made whilst we all looked on in fascination) with her home jam … delicious.  I took a few photos of the class but, sadly, haven’t been able to attach them to this post.

After the clean up we followed Chookie and Ral to their absolutely gorgeous new home and had several enjoyable hours eating lovely hot soup followed by her SD cinnamon scrolls (DH and I were fighting over who would get the last one left on the plate!), gossiping and touring the new house followed by a walk around the gardens.  Their home is so beautiful and cosy with all sorts of nooks and crannies, which I love (I also had a serious dose of kitchen envy!) and the garden is fantastic.  They have done so much work around the place and they will spend many happy hours fossicking around in it once the warmer weather comes in.

Sounds a great day Marina. Back to work today, but Saturday we took 3 of our 4 old cars to a car show. About 150 cars there, but no other HD's or EJ's at all. :D
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
